Project Fiesta t-shirt sale to benefit Any Baby Can
QSanAntonio.com, March 23, 2013

For the fifth year in a row, Chad Nall and Brian Lopez-Rosa, proprietors of Suburban Spaces Real Estate, are selling Fiesta-themed t-shirts to raise money for a local charity. The couple, who moved to San Antonio eight years ago, announced that this year's beneficiary is Any Baby Can.

"Since moving to Texas, we continue to meet extraordinary people who serve as a constant reminder why we call San Antonio our home," they write on the web site for their fundraiser, dubbed Project Fiesta. "Giving back to the community is among the many qualities that make this city so endearing to us, and we continue our tradition of fundraising during Fiesta as our way of giving back to the community we adore so much."

The couple's inspiration for this year's beneficiary came from Julia Lindow, a resident of the Compound where the Project Fiesta Backyard BBQ is being held this year. Lindow volunteered with Any Baby Can for many years before joining their team in 2003.

"We are excited for Any Baby Can of San Antonio to be the beneficiary for our 5th Annual Project Fiesta T-Shirt Fundraiser," says the couple.

The charity provides services to over 1200 families each year who have a child with a chronic illness, disability or developmental delay. All services are free of charge, regardless of income.

This year's t-shirts, designed by Cliantro Creative, come in a variety of colors and are also available in tank tops. All shirts sell for $20. Corporate sponsors are underwriting the production cost of the t-shirts so that 100 percent of the proceeds go to Any Baby Can of San Antonio.

Everyone who purchases a t-shirt will be invited to the Project Fiesta Backyard BBQ on Sunday, April 21.

Nall and Lopez-Rosas say their goal is to help raise awareness about Any Baby Can by having people wear the t-shirts during the Battle of Flowers parade on April 26, at other Fiesta events and throughout the year.

Project Fiesta Fundraiser for Any Baby Can -- Shirts can be ordered online until March 31 at ProjectFiesta.com. All t-shirts must be ordered and payment received prior to the ordering deadline. Invitations will be sent via email the week of April 1.
