Movie synopsis
"Sex and the City: The Movie" finds Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte
and Miranda four years after this hit HBO series ended, as our favorite
friends continue to juggle jobs and relationships while navigating motherhood,
marriage and Manhattan real estate. Carrie Bradshaw, successful author
and everyone’s favorite icon-next-door, is back, her famously sardonic
wit intact and sharper than ever, as she continues to narrate her own
story about sex, love and the fashion-obsessed single woman in New York
City.

'Sex
and the City' director addresses death rumor
Associated Press, May 6
Will "Sex and the City" have a "Death in the City?"
It's been a persistent rumor in cyberspace as the buzz kicks into overdrive
for the film opening later this month. Director Michael Patrick King is
ready to free us from some of our worst fears. Namely, that Mr. Big, Carrie
Bradshaw's longtime, on-and-off love played by Chris Noth, will somehow
kick the bucket.

Four years ago, when "Sex and the City" ended its wildly successful
run, the show's cast of stiletto-heeled shopaholics was effectively muscled
off screen by hordes of scholars and zeitgeist analysts anxious to establish
what it had really been about.
'Sex
and the City' to premiere in London
New York Daily News, April 30
Is Carrie Bradshaw fooling around on New York? Absofrickinlutely not!
say the makers of the "Sex and the City" movie after news broke
Monday that the flick will debut first across the pond. "Sex and
the City: The Movie" will show in London's Leicester Square on May
12 - two weeks before its much-anticipated debut in New York. "London
will be much smaller," a New Line spokesman said. "The whole
cast isn't even going." Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia
Nixon and Kristin Davis all will make the trip, but other big names, including
Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth, and Jennifer Hudson, will not. "It was
simply a question of logistics and scheduling. We're still planning the
big premiere to be in New York," he said.
